You cannot  erase the past but you can use it to your advantage; to better yourself with that knowledge.

You cannot fix everything in one moment but you can live for the day; for the moment. One day ... one step... one breath... one heartbeat at a time.

You cannot continue with the mentality that you "Can't anymore," that you've no will... no fight left. That does not give you faith, that does not give you hope for tomorrow. That only drags you down further to the bottom of the ocean that has become your life.

There is not a right procedure in getting over heartache, loss, pain... any emotion that is anything but comforting. The fact is we do need to deal with our emotions; unfortunately they do not fix themselves. Though it would be nice if they did. It seems a lot easier ignoring our emotions, our secret thoughts instead of facing them head on. However the truth is the short cut usually tends to be the longest route. The one with more twists and turns. Sooner or later life will find way to force you to listen to your heart. To listen to everything you have kept silent, even to yourself.

These emotions... these thoughts are not harmless. They are not but mere words, they are powerful like a bomb. Ready to explode. We are never quite certain which path our emotions of pain or grief will follow. Sometimes pain becomes a monster of anger and hate preparing battles even against oneself. Or it subdues to the point all you feel is... nothing.... pure emptiness. You can no longer feel the pain of life and yet you can no longer feel even the joys it has to offer. Life suddenly becomes colorless. Anger is an emotion I would not recommend anyone... ANYONE to leave bottled up. A way I like to explain it is imagining a child shaking a soda ; shaking it continuously and vigorously  until someone decides to open it. The soda perfect and ready to explode. Sometimes strangely enough the anger finds way to become your depression. Anger has a way of turning itself on you.

I would not recommend anyone to keep silent with anything; especially large matters. I know, I understand you feel you are stronger, but it is difficult to act strong when something that is a part of you turns against you. It is then that finding your strength is hardest when that emotion is buried beneath such strong emotions.

If you have reached the sate where one would refer to as "the point of no return" ... realize that there is no return but there is ALWAYS a future. We are not meant to return to memories past. We are only meant to learn from them. We learn what was intended for us to learn and we take in stride our steps towards the future. The future we desire for ourselves. We create our selves, our futures, our lives with each and every decision we make. It is easier to find fault with others and life itself at times, but ultimately it is our doing... our choosing that can affect our life for the better or for the worse.

Either  if anger or depression are  filling your insides; the core of your heart... you feel alone. You feel not understood, as if everyone were to judge you. You wish for someone to understand you if only so you would feel less alone. Maybe to give you hope that tomorrow is coming. I want you to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! There is an awesome, powerful and loving God carrying you at this moment; who understands you like no other does. Who is not judging, but forgiving and full of mercy and grace. He is there; ready to catch you, to lift you, to listen and to mend your broken heart. You may search the corners of the earth and galaxy and still a better Father and listener you will never find. He is the ultimate everything.

If you have a friend or family member who seems to be lashing out, or seems to have lost interest in even breathing, you can be certain it is definitely with reason... not without. There are no magic words to heal this person you care for. Though God knows how we all wish there were; not only for those we love, but even for ourselves. No one can predict the time it will take to heal or how difficult it will be. What is certain is that it is possible. Some people need to do it alone and some need the constant support of their loved ones however it can not hurt to let them know that you are there for them whenever they need. Don't offer them a lecture of how you believe you understand them. (Chances are you do not; not because you are not trying, but merely because we can not understand or explain with words quite what we are feeling. In such a  state you need to feel understood. Or merely that someone is listening.) No, when someone is in this state of mind, state of being it does not help to tell them a story of someone else you know in a harder situation or to attempt to comfort them with words such as "don't worry my life was harder." Being in this state has not made them forget that others are suffering as well, but in these moments they need to know that what matters for you is them. That you are there for them and solely them. That you will listen no matter how boring it may be or how many tears may come to be shed. Offer your hand, offer you ear, your shoulder; whatever forms of comfort. Try to place yourself in their shoes and imagine what you believe would bring you comfort and what would put you at discomfort. Do unto another as you would yourself.

Dealing with an issue can be difficult and the methods vary widely. I hope that those who have decided to take the journey of healing themselves are taking it with God by their side and in their heart... with methods healing not damaging ... such as alcohol or drug abuse. (violence or even recreational sex) Methods vary from crying inconsolably to screaming loud ( perhaps while covering the sound... ) or perhaps in a more physical way; punching a punching bag. Though I do hope that someone who is in need of releasing their emotions with physical methods never finds way to confuse a punching bag with a human being. It is not permissible and excusable to abuse physically or verbally another human being especially with the intent of excusing yourself with your own hurt. Talking about what you are going through and what you have been through is helpful; if are unable to  afford a therapist remember, the best therapist is always ready to listen. Yes I am referring to God.

If you know anyone who is in a situation where depression has taken joy away from their life, and the will to live; the best thing you can do is to be there for them. It is perfectly alright asking for help... and receiving help. Let them know that no matter what you love them and you are there for them. And if you feel the situation is becoming overwhelming and far out of your hands do not shy away from seeking more help. But remember make sure to not invade anyone's personal space; you will only frighten them more. Be there for those you care about; but do not overwhelm them to the point you give them the final push.

There are no perfect things to say... there are no magic words. All there is, is honesty and love. Love one another and pray for those you worry about. Trust everything in God's hands. He understands things like we can only dream of. He sees things in ways we never will; therefore only he can fix everything.
